Ecuador (2025)
I returned to Ecuador to seek out species and habitats I missed before. The Galápagos Islands, a true wildlife refuge, were impossible to skip a second time and proved unique in every aspect. I also revisited the Amazon rainforest, avoiding the tourist-heavy north to explore the quieter southern regions, and turned my focus to the small birds of the high Andes.
